President: Mr Mike Mansfield
Vice President: Mr Bob Cooper
Hon Secretary: Mrs Anne Parsons
Hon Treasurer: Mrs Nina Philp
Membership: Mr William ( Bill ) Sweet
Last Sunday our treasurer Nina and her husband Graham entertained members of BCA in their garden at Holt for a delicious Tea Party. Homemade scones jam and cream plus homemade cakes etc. The raffle table included two wooden planters made by Graham and the St Piran flag painted on their sides. It gave everyone the opportunity to have a chat whilst enjoying the event on a very hot day.
BCA have suffered great losses of stalwart members in the recent eighteen months or so and our newly elected President Mike Mansfield who took office at the AGM in January along with Bob Cooper Vice President have had a busy start to 2018.
Retiring President William ( Bill ) Sweet who spent a considerable amount of his presidency in and out of hospital spoke of his disappointment in not being able to forfill his duties as President as he would have liked ( even so Bill your good intentions were thwarted through no fault of your own and despite all the unforeseen health problems you did an excellent job, his wife Doreen is a great ambassador for BCA.)
Pasty Supper Night compered by the Vice President Bob Cooper with the quiz set by President Mike Mansfield started the evening prior to our Hot Pasties up from Cornwall and supervised by Liz Poole followed by homemade desserts by members and tea or coffee. The quiz was won by table 4 who received boxes of chocolates.
